The philosophical foundations of education develop along with the development of scientific thought. The philosophical foundations of education are found in the thoughts of philosophers who have concerns in the world of education and or from various schools of philosophy, along with their supporting figures, who make the basis of philosophical thought as the basis of education, both in terms of goals, methods, materials, and evaluation of learning outcomes. There is a relationship between education and other scientific disciplines, namely in terms of philosophical, historical, sociological, anthropological and Islamic aspects.
